Once again the lads turned in a great performance beating both Middlesex and Norfolk 4.5 to 3.5. The match was held at the stunning Fullwell Golf Club in breezy conditions. What made this win even more impressive was that Jack Skelton played with an injured hand which troubled him all round but he secured 2 wins and Oliver Gaunlett who felt under the weather the whole day secured a vital half against Norfolk. Bedfordshire now sit top of the group on 8 points with 3 wins, 2 draws and 1 defeat. There is one match left which doesn’t include Bedfordshire is on the 14th June. Hopefully Norfolk in their home leg will be able to turn the tables on Suffolk which would allow us to progress to the finals. If Suffolk win both matches then they will go to the final so it it out of our hands.
