Bedfordshire County Golf - Juniors
Bedfordshire County Golf are keen to promote the game to the next generation of golfers by encouraging youngsters to take up golf, and then helping them develop by organising competitions, events and matches, and coaching sessions.
We do this in a safe and fun environment, with the help and support of Golf Clubs, schools, professionals, coaches, county officials and volunteers, parents, family members and other fellow golfers of all ages.
Competitions
Bedfordshire County Golf provide opportunities for boys and girls of all age and abilities to play competitive golf at different golf courses through the county, and in the neighbouring counties. Events include:
- Bedfordshire Winter Tour - Events between November and April.

Tavistock Team Trophy - League competition for juniors representing Golf Clubs in Bedfordshire.
- The Interclub - A one off competition between Bedfordshire Clubs who can enter up to 2 teams each. All players in this competition must have a Bedfordshire Club as a home club as the winners go on to represent the County at a national event, usually held at Woodhall Spa.
Coaching
Bedfordshire County Golf provide opportunities for the leading boys and girls at different age levels to receive
County Coaching with the best coaches at the leading facilities during the season.
Schools
Bedfordshire County Golf work closely with
Bedfordshire Schools to give more opportunities to help combine the sport with studies.
England Golf
Bedfordshire County Golf work closely with
England Golf and The Golf Foundation to
encourages children and young people to learn and play golf in a fun and friendly way.
Safeguarding
Bedfordshire County Golf and all the Golf Clubs, team managers, coaches and officials within the county, place a clear and unequivocal emphasis on safeguarding with junior golfers.
