Congratulations to Lesley and Georgina Partington who are winners of the Women's County Foursomes held at Chalgrave Manor Golf Club

It was a winning mother and daughter combination for Lesley and Georgina Partington who are the 2025 Women's County Foursomes champions. Held at Chalgrave Manor Golf Club, which was in excellent condition, it was the first time Georgina had played foursomes. The winning pair come from Cainhoe Wood, with runners up Nicki Croft and Linda Humphries and third placed Jane Brown and Aniela Rebisz, also from Cainhoe Wood.

Welcome to Bedfordshire County Golf

BCG is the governing body of amateur golf within the county of Bedfordshire.  We represent a family of 21 Golf Clubs who facilitate our 9,000 Men, Women and Junior golfers.  Our purpose is to further the interests of amateur golf in Bedfordshire and to provide guidance and assistance to all Affiliated Clubs. 

Our Key Activities are: 

  • To provide governance and advice to all Affiliated Clubs as derived from England Golf and, as relevant, the R&A. 
  • To facilitate competitions for Individuals and Club teams, for all age groups and abilities. 
  • To develop Junior golfers. 
  • To undertake Course Rating in Bedfordshire. 
  • To run County Representative Teams. 
  • To develop golfing talent within the County. 
  • To represent Bedfordshire golf and golf clubs at a national level. 
  • To act as the area authority for administering the WHS/CONGU handicapping system.
