County President Kim Burnage sadly passed away in the early hours of Sunday morning, followed later in the day by Pauline Aubigne who befell a tragic accident whilst on vacation in America. Welcome to Bedfordshire County Golf

BCG is the governing body of amateur golf within the county of Bedfordshire.  We represent a family of 22 Golf Clubs who facilitate our 9,000 Men, Women and Junior golfers.  Our purpose is to further the interests of amateur golf in Bedfordshire and to provide guidance and assistance to all Affiliated Clubs. 

Our Key Activities are: 

  • To provide governance and advice to all Affiliated Clubs as derived from England Golf and, as relevant, the R&A. 
  • To facilitate competitions for Individuals and Club teams, for all age groups and abilities. 
  • To develop Junior golfers. 
  • To undertake Course Rating in Bedfordshire. 
  • To run County Representative Teams. 
  • To develop golfing talent within the County. 
  • To represent Bedfordshire golf and golf clubs at a national level. 
  • To act as the area authority for administering the WHS/CONGU handicapping system.
