Pallett is too strong in Past Captains Salver

FORTY six points was the brilliant winning score in the Bedfordshire Junior Girls Past Captains Salver as Freya Pallett grabbed the honours at Stockwood Park GC.

The John O'Gaunt member posted two net eagles and nine net birdies as she finished four ahead of club-mate Lucy Edwards.

In an event which attracted as many girl golfers as the previous two years combined, Florence Wirth (Leighton Buzzard) won the nine-hole competition.
