County Girls start preparations for new season

Bedfordshire County held their first Girls Academy and Girls Team coaching session of the year at Bedfordshire Golf Club as 20 of the leading youngsters in the county displayed their talents.

Under the guidance of County coaches Richard Banks and Steve Connolly, and Team Manager Jo Mundy, the players spent time working on their putting, chipping and range work in three separate groups.

With further coaching sessions coming up over the next four months at Bedfordshire, the County are preparing for a busy year, which includes the new Progress Junior Tour, Order of Merit, Tavistock Trophy and team matches.

Bedfordshire County have organised a Girls friendly match with Northamptonshire at Colmworth and North Beds Golf Club on Sunday, April 14th.
